Warriors vs. Revolution

The opening clash of the day delivered fireworks early. Warriors came out sharp, organized, and ruthless in front of the goal, dismantling the Revolution 4–1.

Osmi stole the spotlight with a clinical hat trick, finishing with the confidence of someone who clearly skipped breakfast and feasted on goals instead. Dugu added another to seal the dominance. Revolution managed a response through Jevaughn, but by then the momentum was firmly in the Warriors’ hands.

Lions vs. Blackstars

In the second fixture, the Lions stepped onto the pitch in their traditional Tottenham Hotspur-inspired uniforms and backed up the look with substance, beating Blackstars 3–1.

Shaw kept his scoring streak alive on the second league day, continuing to prove he’s not just in form — he’s in business. Eazy added another, Saiid followed suit, and the Lions controlled the flow for most of the match.

Anter grabbed the lone goal for Blackstars, showing resilience, but the Lions’ composure ultimately carried them through.

Deltona Sunset Strikers Kick Off Internal League in Style

The Deltona Sunset Strikers officially launched their internal league with an exciting first day of play, marking a strong step forward in organization, competition, and club culture. The squad was divided into four sub-teams—Lions, Warriors, Black Stars, and Revolution—each featuring over ten players. The league will follow a 6v6 format, with matches scheduled for the first Sunday of the month.

The opening match of the league saw the Lions take on the Warriors, delivering an emphatic 4–1 victory for the Lions. Star forward Shaw stole the spotlight with a hat trick (3 goals), while Saiid added one to complete the scoring for the Lions. The Warriors’ lone goal came from Ritchie, who found the net in a spirited effort.

The second match of the day featured Revolution vs. Black Stars, where Revolution edged out a 2–1 win. Dimario was the difference-maker, scoring both goals for the Revolution, while Anter pulled one back for the Black Stars.

Following opening day, Shaw leads the Top Scorer chart with 3 goals, closely followed by Dimario with 2 goals, setting the tone for what promises to be a competitive season.

Matchday Two is scheduled for February 1:

• 3:30 PM: Black Stars vs. Warriors
• 4:30 PM: Lions vs. Revolution

The league will continue on the first Sunday of every month through June. At the conclusion of league play, the top two teams will contest the Cup Final, while the bottom two teams will compete for 3rd and 4th place.
